Qingfeng Bridge, over the Yongjiang River and linking Jiangdong and Jiangbei district, yesterday had its main structure and extension finished. According to the authority of Ningbo Government, the bridge is ready for traffic, and it is to open after the traffic administrative rules are decided. It is estimated the bridge will open early next month. Then, the traffic between Hubin Road near the Sun Lake and and Zhongxing Road in Jiangdong will be available.

　　 According to the related authority, Qingfeng Bridge and its extensions is a key project of Zhejiang and Ningbo, and an important link of Tongtu Road the throughway. Qingfeng Bridge is Ningbo's first double pylon cable suspension bridge, 280 m over the Yongjjiang River, and it is No.3 in China for its span length.

　　 The whole project consists in the main bridge, Jiangdong extension, and Jiangbei extension, 3,654 m in length, and 44-68 m in width, with 8 lanes in the two ways. The project links Zhongxing Road, Shuguang Road, North Jiangdong Road, Zhejiang, Xiabaishan Road, Renmin Road, South Daqing Road and Hubin Road in Jiangbei District.

　　 Besides its traffic function, Qingfeng Bridge is a landscape building. The bridge is terse in structure and stately in style. On the east and west ends of the bridge, are two 7-storey sightseeing towers with glass walls, installed with elevators.
