Mr. Ji Guohua in Hangzhou has a daughter working in Guangzhou. Before, Mr. Ji and his wife travels to Guangzhou to visit their daughter once a year; however, at present, they are able to communicate with her on line.

The statistics shows that in the year 2003, there were only 3,440,000 Internet users in Zhejiang Province; while at the end of 2006, 6,500,000.

The channel TV is also making people's lives vivid. At the end of the year 2006, there have been 9,500,000 users of channel TV in Zhejiang, 1,770,000 more than in 2003; and 63% of the families have been equipped the channel TV. In November 2005, telephone service has covered all the villages in Zhejiang. At the end of 2006, there have been 54,030,000 telephone users in Zhejiang, of which 23,910,000 are of fixed telephones, which is ranked 4th among all the provinces in China; while mobile phones, 30,120,000, 2nd in China.

For example, in Huaguang Village, Chongfu Town of Tongxiang City under North Zhejiang Province's Jiaxing City, villagers now have a hobby of their own portal website "Huaguang Web". It is estimated that at the end of 2008, channel TV will cover all the villages and countries in Zhejiang, and broad band web service will cover most of them.

The quickly developing informationization is making people of Zhejiang closer to the world.
