The 11.8-billion-yuan(US$1.5 billion)Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge is expected to be completed in 2007 and put into traffic in 2008, a year earlier than originally planned, sources said Tuesday.

The cross-sea bridge, spanning 36 kilometers cross Hangzhou bay, will be longest one of its kind in the world.
