Under the theme of "Zhejiang--a model of harmonious development", a large-scale media coverage program on Zhejiang province by major web meida from across china officially started Monday in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang province.

The event, co-sponsored by the Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and Zhejiang Online, the leading news portal in Zhejiang province, will last five days till Nov. 24, during which journalists from 15 famous Chinese web media such as xinhuanet.com, peoplesdaily.com and Chinadaily.com will pay visit to the cities of Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Yiwu and Dongyang for indepth coverage on the development of the province.
